Basismodul 2: Leadership culture and values

In this course, you will exchange ideas on leadership culture and define your own values and attitudes. You will reflect on your leadership role and explore how your leadership style can support health promotion, stress management, and resilience.

Ziele

Participants will be able to:

  • Promote values and attitudes aligned with their role model function,
  • Foster health promotion, stress management, and resilience through their own leadership behavior,
  • Apply self-management methods in their day-to-day leadership,
  • Develop their own leadership concept.

Inhalte

  • Leadership culture: attitudes and values, responsibility, and ethics
  • Self-management and reflection on one’s leadership role
  • Time and resource management
  • Health and resilience
  • Stress management and health-oriented leadership behavior

Zielpublikum

This module is intended for individuals in leadership roles within higher education or related settings, including professors, administrative leaders, third space professionals, research group leaders, and heads of institutes, departments, or staff units, as well as others in leadership positions.

This module can be booked as a standalone course.

Kosten

CHF 1020.—

Administratives

Free of charge for staff with leadership responsibilities at the University of Bern. This applies to individuals who supervise employees and work at least 50%.

Annullierungsbestimmungen

  • Withdrawal before the registration deadline is free of charge.
  • For cancellations after the deadline, the full course fee will be charged. If a replacement participant is found, only a processing fee of CHF 200 will apply.
  • It is the responsibility of each participant to decide whether to take out cancellation insurance.
