Hot Topics in Health Care Research
Ziele
At the end of this course, participants:
- know current research questions and/ or practice problems in primary care, nursing, palliative care, quality and safety;
- recognize significance of these “hot topics” for health systems and health services research;
- have a basic understanding of key methods applied in health services research and know their advantages and limitations.
Inhalte
This course will address four specific, important topics of health care systems: Primary care, nursing, palliative care, quality and safety. In each topic, we will discuss uptodate research questions or practice problems and link these to health policy, law and health systems organization and financing. Key methods for health care research are introduced and discussed with their advantages and limitations, e.g. routine health care data as indicators for system performance

Course takes place every second year.

A tertiary education degree is required. The program manager decides on the final admission. Priority is given to PhD students
Application process: You are requested to enroll online. Seats will be allocated according to date of enrolment. Three weeks before the course/workshop at the latest, the administration will decide and inform about running or cancelling the course/workshop.
